I am an eco-physiologist with interest in plant metabolism and plant-soil interactions. I started working with stable isotopes during my PhD and use them to elucidate processes that are difficult to measure otherwise. I am looking forward to meeting you during the workshop.

I am a geologist and archaeologist with wide-ranging interests. I've worked in seismic processing, exploration petroleum geology in Canada, and have been a professional archaeologist in Jersey, U.K. I don't know what I'm best at. I've always been terrible with numbers which is something of a handicap in this field. And I can't remember dates, which isn't brilliant for an archaeologist. But strangely I am a proficient computer programmer in many languages! However, I know a bit about isotopes and I'm good at fixing things, so I'm a research officer.

I am a Plant Physiologist who specialises in studying photosynthesis and water-use efficiency through gas exchange and stable isotope techniques. My research integrates theoretical biophysics with experimental methods to develop mechanistic models of carbon fixation, CO2 diffusion, and plant hydraulics. By combining carbon and water isotope measurements, I investigate how CO2 and water move within leaves, shedding light on mesophyll CO2 gradients, diffusion resistances, and their impact on plant function.
